The Copperphone is Available Now!

Yet another free instrument in Soundpaint, the Copperphone is a simple but great little tuned percussion instrument. It has a really charming and pure sound, and the various playing implements (hard mallets, soft mallets, wooden mallets, fingernails, & muted) manage to extract surprisingly different sounds from the pipes. 

There is a good variety of free instruments in Soundpaint now, and it’s always fun to see what new instruments can be made by combining them. If you are lacking inspiration (or maybe if you’re bored on a weekend), playing with these free instruments and mixing them together might just be the cure.
